Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rico Mondo (ranked 4827 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test Three (ranked 3230 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Atomic Dog (George Clinton). Test Three has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Three checks a leg kick.
Mondo scores with a hook.
Mondo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mondo drops his hands momentarily and Three takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Rico Mondo has been cut.
Mondo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Three.
Mondo seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Three throws a big shot that misses.
Mondo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mondo looks to throw the jab but Three is out of range.
Mondo tries to bum rush Three with a series of wild strikes but Three uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Three! But no joy.
A big left from Three misses.
Mondo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Three.
Mondo misses with the combination.
A swing and a miss from Mondo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mondo avoids the body shot from Three.
Three moves away from the strike by Mondo.
Three fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Three misses with a looping left.
Three lands a body shot.
Mondo is breathing heavily.
Three misses with a wild combination.
Mondo throws a right hand that Three ducks under and follows up with a left that Three also avoids with ease.

Three drops Mondo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mondo looks back up at him and smiles so Three waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Mondo is rocked!
Three cracks Mondo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mondo falls backwards against the cage. Three follows up with more strikes that drop Mondo to his knees. Three keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mondo! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Test Three!
