Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 6999 p4p, 576 weight class) and Erling Koch (ranked 3359 p4p, 358 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koch moves away.
Koch lands a really nice looking cross but Prime seems unphased.
Koch blocks a jab.
Koch lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Koch scores with a hook.
Koch tries to bum rush Prime with a series of wild strikes but Prime uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Prime takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prime will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Prime throws a jab when Koch was well out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Koch! But no joy.

and Koch counters with a nice uppercut.

and Koch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Koch cracks Prime with an open hand slap.
Koch is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Prime had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Koch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Koch might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Prime throws a nice looking combination but Koch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Koch jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Prime takes a swing at Koch's ribcage but misses.
Prime waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Koch.

Koch darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Koch lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Prime has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Prime there as he acknowledges the shot.
Koch uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Prime has time to react.
Prime is breathing heavily.

Koch lands a big uppercut and Prime crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Prime looks OK. Koch waves Prime back to his feet!

Prime is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prime throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Koch counters with a huge left! Prime is in big trouble! He's backing up but Koch isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Prime from any more damage. A dominating finish by Koch!

Erling Koch really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that M.O. Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
