The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horowich misses with a takedown attempt - Gorin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horowich wants to clinch up but Gorin keeps it at a distance.
Gorin looks to land a right hand but Horowich moved out of range.
Horowich is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Horowich has closed the distance and engaged Gorin in a clinch.
Horowich tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gorin just stands there and leans against the cage.

Horowich closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Horowich wants to free his trapped foot but Gorin is holding on for dear life with his legs.
