Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krunoslav Slabinac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ping Pong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krunoslav Slabinac!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slabinac looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pong lands a jab-cross combination.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Slabinac crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pong - the referee stops the clock and Slabinac gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pong. Slabinac manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slabinac paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Slabinac closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pong circles away.
Ping Pong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krunoslav Slabinac.

Pong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slabinac is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pong.
Pong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pong.

Slabinac shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pong but Pong pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pong drops Slabinac with a right and a left! Pong comes rushing in but Slabinac regains his composure and manages to keep Pong in guard.

Pong wants to stand but Slabinac is controlling his posture from full guard.
Slabinac is still in real trouble! Can Pong finish him?

Pong gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Slabinac seems to have recovered his senses.
Pong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slabinac swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pong wants to stand up but Slabinac is controlling him.
Slabinac seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Slabinac shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Slabinac in particular looking to stall.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pong here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

I think Slabinac has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
