Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Pennilla (ranked 7745 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pl Ease Gauzeme (ranked 5857 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gauzeme tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Pennilla counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Gauzeme manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pennilla keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Gauzeme is trying to force a seperation but Pennilla has the dominant position.

Pennilla breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pennilla closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gauzeme throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

and Pennilla counters with a crisp one two that drops Gauzeme! Pennilla thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gauzeme to his feet! Gauzeme is in big trouble!

Pennilla has managed to clinch.

Gauzeme ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gauzeme no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pennilla knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gauzeme on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Pennilla catches Gauzeme with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

letting Pennilla counter with a right hand.
Gauzeme tries to close the distance and clinch but Pennilla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gauzeme shoots for a takedown but Pennilla saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pennilla stands up from Gauzeme's guard - Pennilla perhaps looking for a knockout.

Pennilla lands a big head kick that sends Gauzeme tumbling to the mat! Pennilla takes a step backwards and waves Gauzeme back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gauzeme is still on wobbly legs! Can Pennilla finish him?

It looks like Pl Ease Gauzeme has been cut.

and Pennilla counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Gauzeme to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Pennilla!
