The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greden just misses with a punch to the body.
Greden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diaz as he jumps to the side.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Diaz throwing strikes but missing.
Greden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz is working Greden over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Diaz wanted to stand there but Greden had control of the position.

Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Diaz gets to his feet and stands over Greden, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Greden felt that one! Diaz unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Greden from any more punishment!

A less than humble Nate Diaz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
