Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Nevez.
Nevez misses with a kick to the body.
Yamada unleashes a big counter combination but Nevez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Yamada rushes Nevez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nevez with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Nevez as Yamada tries to tie him up.
Nevez stops a takedown attempt from Yamada.
Nevez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yamada has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Nevez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamada is trying to control the position but Nevez postures up.
Nevez wants to stand and escape but instead Yamada has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nevez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Nevez is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Yamada dives into side control.
Yamada tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nevez is wriggling around trying to escape but Yamada has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Nevez taps out and Yamada picks up the big win! Great work there by Yamada!
