Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Janis Priede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson TapOut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TapOut has chosen Bonkers- Dizzee Rascal and Amanda Van Helden as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Priede lands an impressive looking overhand right. TapOut doesn't seem phased though.
Priede throws a half hearted mid kick.

TapOut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Priede's guard.
Priede really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Priede wants to stand but TapOut is controlling the position.

TapOut drops back looking for a leg! Priede is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Priede manages to kick TapOut off! TapOut jumps back into Priede's guard.
Priede tries to land a sweep but no joy.

TapOut prevents Priede from getting back to his feet.
Priede trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Priede seems keen to control TapOut's posture.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
TapOut fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
TapOut uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Priede.
Priede looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
TapOut looks for a takedown but Priede sprawls well.
TapOut moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Priede pushes TapOut away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, TapOut gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
TapOut wants to take his opponent's back but Priede doesn't allow it.
Priede is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

TapOut goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Priede turns into him and now he's in TapOut's guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

TapOut moves away from the strike by Priede.
TapOut displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Priede throws out the jab.
Priede keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Priede throws an uppercut from half a mile away. TapOut sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Priede drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Priede stopping the sweep attempt from TapOut.
TapOut is trying to control the position but Priede postures up.

Priede looking to sit in guard and control but TapOut gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

TapOutis looking to pass into half guard but Priede pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Priede is in guard.
TapOut pulls Priede in close to prevent any damage.

TapOut is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
TapOut takes a body punch but keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Priede lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
TapOut fails with the takedown
and Priede connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
TapOut moves out of range as Priede strikes.
Priede misses with an uppercut.
Priede missing with a left hand there. TapOut was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

TapOut looks for a takedown but Priede sprawls well.
Janis Priede has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson TapOut.

That was a close second round but I would say that Janis Priede will probably get the nod.

TapOut looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Priede is fending him off so far but TapOut persists. Nope, Priede circles away and we're back to standing.

Priede is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst TapOut is controlling him.

TapOut seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Priede does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
TapOut is taking a breather. Priede says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

TapOut has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Priede defend it? TapOut steps over the head and cranks it - Priede is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for TapOut!
