The crowd seem to be enjoying Imonen's choice of entrance music: Another One bites the Dust. Mika Imonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fry clinches up with Imonen and pushes him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Fry scores with a nice short uppercut.
Imonen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fry manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Imonen keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Fry fails to pull guard.
Fry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fry circles away from the clinch attempt.
Imonen shoots in and drives through. Fry sprawls well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fry gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Imonen.
It looks like Myron Fry has been cut.
Imonen pushes Fry up against the cage in a clinch.
Imonen tries to pull guard but Fry forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Imonen has Fry pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Imonen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fry tumbling to the mat - Imonen dives into Fry's guard.
Fry has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Imonen wants to stand but Fry has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fry is controlling Imonen's posture.
Fry wants to sweep here but Imonen controlling him for the moment.
Fry is working hard here to advance position.
Fry looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Imonen wants to control from the top but Fry keeps moving.
Imonen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Imonen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fry looks for a takedown but Imonen sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fry on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fry is rocked!
Imonen moves into the clinch.
Oh Fry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Imonen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fry gets tackled into the cage by Imonen. Imonen maintains the clinch.
Imonen pushes Fry against the cage. Imonen is working some dirty boxing. Imonen pushes off with a quick right hook! Fry goes down! Fry tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Imonen moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mika Imonen!
