Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiago Franco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco misses with a takedown attempt
and Nagata counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nagata comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Franco shoots and misses
and Nagata counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Franco tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Nagata to counter with a crisp jab.

Nagata feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Franco sprawling to the canvas! Franco rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nagata finish him?!

Franco is rocked!

It looks like Tiago Franco has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Franco wants to clinch
and Nagata counters with a big right hand! Oh Franco is in trouble here! Nagata follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
