Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Diniz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tony mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Diniz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, tony mars!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mars jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Diniz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
mars thows a left - swing and a miss!
mars stuffs the takedown.

mars is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
mars throws a jab but it's blocked by Diniz.
mars throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diniz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Diniz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. mars tries to avoid it but Diniz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag mars to the ground. mars escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Diniz moves in looking to clinch but mars pushes him off.

mars is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diniz.

Diniz tries to close the distance and clinch but mars swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Diniz.

Diniz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diniz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

mars seems a little lost for a moment, as Diniz dominates the positioning.
mars tries to escape but Diniz is in control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
mars swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
mars might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Horrible takedown by Diniz or perhaps it was just good defense by mars which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vitor Diniz will probably get the nod.
