Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 5771 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 5103 p4p, 472 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Diaz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Diaz walks into a stiff left hand from Morgan.
Morgan connects with a single shot there.
Diaz moves forwards but Morgan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Diaz on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Morgan lands a right hook to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Morgan.
Morgan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Morgan connects with a crisp jab.
Morgan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Morgan feints a jab promting Diaz to slip. Morgan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Diaz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morgan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaz's head backwards.
Morgan jabs Diaz to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Diaz tries to counter with a clinch but Morgan shakes him off and moves away.

and Diaz counters with a single leg into guard. Morgan didn't expect that.
Diaz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Diaz wants to stand but Morgan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz wants to get up but he can't break Morgan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Diaz loads up on a big left hand. Morgan felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Diaz looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Morgan can't hide his disappointment, as Diaz celebrates the victory.
