The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
A combination from Black does no damage.
Mandingo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mandingo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but Mandingo persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.
Black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mandingo.
Check Mandingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mandingo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Black's waist but Black gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mandingo off to one side.

Black scores with a big shot! Mandingo's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Mandingo! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
