Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Weiss (ranked 5841 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Ali (ranked 24688 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ali moves into the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Ali.
Ali on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Weiss misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ali.
A head punch on the inside from Weiss fails to land.

Ali has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Weiss is trying to keep an underhook but Ali manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Weiss has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ali is on him like a limpet, forcing Weiss back against the cage.

Ali wants the takedown. Weiss is fighting it off but Ali persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Weiss's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ali. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Ali turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ali manages to end up in side control.
Weiss is looking to get back to his feet here but Ali is keeping cool and he's managed to take Weiss's back.

I would just about give that final round to Ali Ali.
Well Ali has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
