The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Sims throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A lazy body kick from Urkel
and Sims counters with a two punch combo.
Sims darts in looking for a takedown but Urkel gets double underhooks and turns Sims into the cage.

Urkel rushes Sims and presses him up against the cage.

Urkel breaks from the clinch.

Sims breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sims has his takedown stuffed
and Urkel counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Jermaine Sims has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sims throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Urkel looks to score with a jab to the body but Sims is just out of range.

Urkel connects with a body shot.
Jermaine Sims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Urkel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Sims is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Urkel to keep the fight standing.
Steven Urkel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jermaine Sims.
Urkel scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Urkel gets control of Sims's arms and successfully pulls guard. Urkel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sims tries to free his leg and advance position but Urkel is retaining full guard.
Urkel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Urkel tries to get out of the position.
Sims throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Sims is fighting to break Urkel's control of his arms but Urkel is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Urkel is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Urkel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sims looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Urkel has picked Sims up and slammed him! Sims can't keep hold of the triangle and Urkel manages to pass to side control!

Urkel decides to stand back up.
Urkel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sims.

Urkel fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Sims to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Sims looks to clinch but Urkel throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Sims taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
