Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Smith (ranked 5654 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Guy (ranked 5812 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Guy misses with a body shot.
Guy dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Guy's head and hops out.
Smith misses the jab.
Guy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Guy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Guy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guy on the ground.
Guy is landing with some decent strikes but Smith is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Smith stalks Guy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Guy's face. Guy staggers backwards, shaken.

And Guy tries to counter it with a takedown but Smith pushes his down on his head and steps out.
