Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luis Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Over it!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
it throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ramos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Ramos. Those never looked like landing.
it throws a right hand that Ramos ducks under and follows up with a left that Ramos also avoids with ease.
Ramos tries to counter by moving into the clinch but it manages to circle out of the way.
it lands a high kick!
it misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ramos avoids a punch combination nicely.

it rushes Ramos and presses him up against the cage.
Ramos is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

it breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

it clinches up with Ramos and pushes him back against the cage.

it breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

it manages to break the clinch.
it misses with a few strikes there.
Over it is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ramos tries to keep at a distance but it has taken the fight into the clinch.
it is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Ramos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by it.
Ramos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. it manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
it misses with a head kick.

Ramos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. it is trying to defend but Ramos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ramos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramos wants to control the pace but it is squirming around nicely.

it reaches up to try and control the position but Ramos seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! it rolls and tries to escape and now Ramos has his back!
What can it do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

it wants to control his opponent's hands but Ramos gets his hands free.
Ramos is hanging on to it's back as he tries to escape.
it is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Ramos.
it trying to control the action but Ramos just sinks the hooks in.
it is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Ramos is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Ramos really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for it.
it tries to escape but Ramos has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

it will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Ramos backs off it throws a huge counter combo but Ramos manages to avoid it all.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
it keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ramos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching it on his heels. He'll look to pass it's guard now, I'm sure.

it is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ramos is controlling him well.

Ramos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've been informed that it has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Ramos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A nice elbow there by Ramos.

Ramos wants to finish this one by submission but it is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ramos.

it is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ramos lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ramos.
it is trapped and Ramos is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Ramos trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Ramos is working for a rear naked choke. it is not defending it well and Ramos has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! it refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of it's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Luis Ramos!
