Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Fietsora (ranked 649 p4p, 90 weight class) and Tarkhan Naranbaatar (ranked 535 p4p, 76 weight class). Naranbaatar has chosen Batzorig Vaanchig as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tarkhan Naranbaatar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naranbaatar throws a lazy body kick
and Fietsora counters with a stiff right hand.
Fietsora dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Naranbaatar. That did some damage!
Fietsora looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fietsora looks to land a combination. Naranbaatar sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Naranbaatar stuns Fietsora with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fietsora takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Naranbaatar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fietsora won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fietsora tries to improve position but can't.
Fietsora looks to move to half guard but instead Naranbaatar has passed into mount! Damn!
Fietsora is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Naranbaatar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Naranbaatar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Fietsora tries to lock up and control but Naranbaatar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fietsora sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Fietsora tries to get to full guard but Naranbaatar has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fietsora is staying active underneath Naranbaatar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Naranbaatar wants to free his trapped foot but Fietsora is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fietsora is trying to get back to full guard.

Naranbaatar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fietsora is just riding it out for now. Naranbaatar eventually gives up the hold.

Naranbaatar wants to control but Fietsora is keeping him busy.
Fietsora is trying to control but Naranbaatar manages to pass to mount!
Naranbaatar prevents Fietsora from getting the reversal.

Naranbaatar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fietsora has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fietsora!

Naranbaatar has an active guard here but Fietsora has managed to pass into half guard.

Our spies down at at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic inform us that Naranbaatar has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Naranbaatar is looking to cinch up a triangle. Fietsora throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Naranbaatar's body to avoid the submission. Naranbaatar has instead reached around Fietsora's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Naranbaatar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
