Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brian Reaves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pikachu Masta!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masta tries for a takedown but Reaves sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Masta tries to clinch up but Reaves circles away and keeps his distance.
Reaves is looking to counter punch.
Masta keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Masta throws a head kick that misses
and Masta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Masta takes one on the button.
Masta is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Reaves fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masta misses with a takedown

and Reaves counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Reaves will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Masta up against the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The referee calls for Reaves to work.
Reaves lands a shoulder strike.
Reaves holding his opponent close, against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Brian Reaves.
Masta wants to clinch
and Reaves counters with a slapping leg kick.

Masta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Reaves wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Reaves on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reaves tries to get out of the position.

Reaves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Masta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Reaves wants to get back to his feet but Masta is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Reaves keeping moving, preventing Masta from controlling successfully.

Reaves working for a triangle but Masta defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Masta pushing down on Reaves's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Reaves wants to improve his position but Masta is controlling well.

Masta is working for a kimura but Reaves is defending it quite comfortably.
Reaves tries to kick Masta off in order to stand up. Masta Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Reaves pushes Masta away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Masta gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Masta decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reaves to his feet.
Masta tries for a takedown but Reaves circles away easily
and Reaves counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brian Reaves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pikachu Masta.
Masta looks winded!
Masta misses with a takedown
and Reaves counters with a nice low kick that buckles Masta's knee momentarily.
Reaves lands with a right hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Masta gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Reaves connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Masta shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Reaves dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Masta takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Reaves is looking to slow Masta down with leg kicks.
Masta fails with the takedown.
Reaves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Masta was well out of range. Poor timing from Reaves.

Reaves darts in and clinches Masta up against the cage.
Masta takes a shot to the head.
Reaves displaying some good clinch control by pressing Masta up against the cage.

Reaves works on Masta's body with a couple of short punches.
Masta is breathing heavily.
A nice left hand lands by Reaves.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Reaves is struggling to control the position.
Reaves gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Reaves pushes Masta back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Reaves lands a nice uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Reaves as the two fighters clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Reaves.
Reaves is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Masta can do to turn this around?
Reaves scores with a shoulder strike.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Masta tries to circle away but Reaves has him pinned against the cage.
Reaves lands with a short shot to the head.

Reaves breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pikachu Masta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reaves connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Masta's hands.
Reaves fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Masta should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Reaves has managed to clinch.

Reaves manages to break the clinch.
A shot to the liver by Reaves. Beautiful body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Masta's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reaves connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Masta scrambles back to his feet.
A slapping body kick lands there for Reaves.
A thudding body kick lands there by Reaves!
Reaves scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Reaves jabs Masta right on the nose. Masta blinks but takes it well.
Reaves wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Masta takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Masta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reaves looks to score with a jab to the body but Masta is just out of range.
Reaves dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Masta. That did some damage!
A nice leg kick lands there from Reaves.
A solid leg kick lands there for Reaves.
Reaves darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Reaves digs a good hook to Masta's body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reaves. Masta does a little dance to reset his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Reaves.
Masta takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Masta is defended easily by Reaves.
Reaves works Masta's body with a nice hook.
Reaves misses the shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reaves throws a quick inside leg kick.
Reaves swings for the body but Masta moves out of range.
Masta's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Reaves lunges at Masta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masta's hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Reaves dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Reaves fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Masta.
Reaves works the jab nicely.
Masta misses with a takedown
and Masta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Masta tries for a takedown but Reaves circles away easily
and Reaves counters with an inside leg kick.
Masta takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Reaves throws a head kick that Masta semi-blocks.


It looks like Pikachu Masta has been cut.
Reaves fakes the leg kick and cracks Masta in the body.
Reaves throws a right hand that Masta ducks under and follows up with a left that Masta also avoids with ease.
Reaves swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Masta.
Masta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reaves throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Masta.
Masta closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Reaves fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Masta has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Masta drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Reaves thuds a left hand into Masta's body.
Reaves lands a jab to the nose.
Reaves scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Reaves gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reaves working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Reaves.
Masta has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reaves is struggling to control the position.
Masta's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Reaves scores with a shoulder strike.

Reaves drops Masta onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Masta is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!


Masta is rocked!
Reaves lands a big right hand! Masta is out cold! This one is all over!
