Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Graves (ranked 25271 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Beezlebub (ranked 5668 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beezlebub pivots, looking for a leg kick but Graves is out of range and Beezlebub settles back down.
Graves throws a big counter combination but Beezlebub scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Beezlebub rushes Graves and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Graves tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beezlebub smiles and moves away.
Beezlebub takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Beezlebub closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graves quickly recovers to half guard.

Graves manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Graves looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Beezlebub has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Graves is on him like a limpet, forcing Beezlebub back against the cage.
Graves has Beezlebub pressed against the cage.
Graves is trying to pull guard but Beezlebub turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Graves pulls guard effortlessly.

Graves scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Beezlebub throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Graves was covering up waiting for the punch and Beezlebub finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beezlebub accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Beezlebub is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Graves went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

and Graves counters with a left and a right that stings Beezlebub.

Beezlebub darts in and clinches Graves up against the cage.
Graves tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Graves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beezlebub tries to circle away but Graves has him pinned against the cage.

Graves jumps guard and drags Beezlebub to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Graves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Beezlebub wants to control from the top but Graves keeps moving.
Beezlebub loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Graves wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beezlebub would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Beezlebub wants to get up but he can't break Graves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Graves jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beezlebub walks away with a smile on his face. Graves gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Graves counters with a two punch combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gregory Graves will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Beezlebub gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Graves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Beezlebub fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Graves sprawls well initially but Beezlebub persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Graves manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Beezlebub keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Beezlebub's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Beezlebub escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Graves drives through with a takedown into Beezlebub's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Beezlebub is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Graves dives into side control.

Beezlebub wants to control but Graves postures up.
Graves advances to mount.
Beezlebub wants to hold on but Graves pushes him away.
Graves really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Graves lands a heavy elbow.

Graves stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Beezlebub throws a quick inside leg kick.
Beezlebub uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Gregory Graves has been cut.

Beezlebub forces Graves back against the cage and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beezlebub misses with a punch on the inside.

Beezlebub's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Beezlebub looks to land a right hand but Graves moved out of range.
Graves appears to be looking for a big counter.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Beezlebub, as that shot connected.

Graves dodges the punch combination from Beezlebub.
Oh Graves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beezlebub throws a jab but it's blocked by Graves.
Beezlebub fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Graves to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Graves looks to clinch but Beezlebub throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Graves taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
