The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lee tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.

Lee wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Gracie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gracie makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.

Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
