Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeffrey Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Walton!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster clinches with his opponent.
Foster is working for takedown but Walton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Foster goes for a takedown in the clinch but Walton prevents it.
Foster fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Walton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Foster has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Walton regains guard immediately.

Walton pushes Foster off and scrambles back to his feet.
Walton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Walton scores with a jab.
Walton scores with a jab to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walton falls off balance throwing a combination

and Foster counters by clinching up.

Walton gets underhooks to prevent Foster's takedown attempt.
Walton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Foster is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walton to keep the fight standing.

Walton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Foster shoots in looking for a takedown but Walton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Foster's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Good leg kick by Walton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Walton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Foster slips a jab and a cross from Walton.
The fight stays on the outside here - Foster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Walton throws a series of punches but Foster moves out of range.
Walton throws a head kick but Foster moves out of range.
Foster is looking to counter punch.
Walton misses with a low kick.
Walton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Foster.
Walton lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Walton cracks Foster with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Walton thuds a left hand into Foster's body.
Foster is looking to clinch but Walton is avoiding it.

Foster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foster is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Walton is defending well.
Walton misses with a hook to the ribs.
Walton has had enough of the clinch but Foster keeps him there for the moment.

Foster decides to pull guard.
Foster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Walton missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Foster is breathing heavily.

Walton stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Luke Walton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walton throws a head kick but Foster moves out of range.
Walton stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


Foster is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Foster walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Walton swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Walton!
Luke Walton spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
