Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Kristian Nielsen (ranked 4287 p4p, 163 weight class) and Saul Tigh (ranked 2892 p4p, 118 weight class). Nielsen comes into the arena with Wardruna - Fehu blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Saul Tigh was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nielsen scores with a body shot.
Nielsen misses with a looping left.
Saul Tigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nielsen throws a series of punches but Tigh avoids them all with ease.
Tigh is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Tigh misses with a kick to the body.
Tigh misses with an uppercut. Nielsen saw that one coming.
Tigh scores with a jab. Nielsen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Sven Kristian Nielsen has been cut.
Nielsen throws a hook but Tigh blocks it.
Tigh plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nielsen misses with a looping right.
Tigh takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Nielsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tigh.

Tigh throws a hook to the side of Nielsen's head but Nielsen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tigh moves out of range as Nielsen strikes.
Nielsen looks to throw the jab but Tigh is out of range.

and Tigh counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sven Kristian Nielsen's cut is getting worse.
Nielsen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nielsen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've been informed that Tigh has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Tigh counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nielsen! Tigh lets Nielsen back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Nielsen is rocked!
Tigh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tigh knocks out Nielsen with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Tigh before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Tigh picks up the big W with a huge KO!
