Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Porfirio Watson (ranked 5905 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunte Calhoun (ranked 25279 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Calhoun's sensitive parts.
Calhoun stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Calhoun wants it to stay on the feet.

Calhoun fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Watson to the ground. Calhoun is now in Watson's guard.

Calhoun has gone for a leg lock! Watson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Calhoun's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
