The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnold uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shlemenko.
Shlemenko throws a big shot that misses.
A punch combination from Arnold misses.
Arnold slips under a jab from Shlemenko.
It looked like Arnold was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Shlemenko misses with a hook to the body
and Arnold counters with a left to the body.
Shlemenko misses with a straight left.
Decent striking displayed by Arnold there.
Shlemenko misses with a lunging right hand
and Arnold counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Arnold walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shlemenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Shlemenko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Arnold uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shlemenko.

and Shlemenko counters with a nice right hand that sends Arnold toppling to the canvas! Arnold scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shlemenko finish him?!

Arnold is rocked!

A slow jab from Shlemenko misses its intended target.
Arnold throws a quick counter head kick but Shlemenko was just out of range.
Oh Arnold is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alexander Shlemenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shlemenko connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Arnold covering up! Shlemenko comes in with a big uppercut and Arnold goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
