Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chase Status (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sebastian Granite is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Status shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Status looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Granite is trying desperately to improve position.

Status jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Granite is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Granite and Status has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Status is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Granite is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Status working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Granite is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Status off and has taken his back!
Granite thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Granite doesn't have the hooks in and Status manages to turn into his guard.

Granite is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Granite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Status doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Status manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Status is pressing down on Granite's thigh, looking to free his foot. Granite is holding on for now.

Granite throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Status stumbling backwards into the cage! Status bounces back off the cage towards Granite, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Granite lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Granite celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
