Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Moon (ranked 5927 p4p, 0 weight class) and Honorio Barros (ranked 5282 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barros misses with a takedown

and Moon moves into the clinch.
Barros looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Moon manages to break the clinch.
Moon scores with a kick to the midsection.
Honorio Barros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon tries a head kick but it misses.
Moon pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Moon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Barros wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Moon manages to pass to side control.

Moon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Barros takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Moon lands a nice looking kick to the body. Barros takes a step back to recover.

Moon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moon lands in his opponent's guard.
Barros is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Moon dives into side control.

Moon tries for a kimura but Barros is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Moon scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Barros to see if he's OK.

Moon stands up.

Moon has Barros up against the cage in a clinch.

Moon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barros shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moon defends it nicely.

Moon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Barros did well to prevent Moon getting side control.
Barros tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Moon manages to move to mount!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Moon lands a big shot there that rocks Barros but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Moon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Barros manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Moon tries for a kimura but Barros is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Elijah Moon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Moon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barros napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Barros wants to get back to his feet but Moon is dominant here and he's now got Barros's back!

Moon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
