These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llagostera throws a sloppy body shot
and Conford counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Tucco Llagostera has been cut.

and Conford holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Llagostera blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Llagostera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Conford gets in close and tags Llagostera with a short punch that almost sends Llagostera to the mat! Oh Llagostera is in big trouble! He turns his back on Conford, trying to create some distance but Conford rushes him, striking wildly and Llagostera goes down! The referee tackles Conford into the cage to end the fight! Conford is one violent man!
