Holmes's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DJ Hazard - Machete. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Holmes thinking.

Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Holmes has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jones prevents Holmes from improving his position.
Jones works his foot free and advances to mount.
Holmes wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
