Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Grundmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kasa Panos!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundmann fails with the takedown
and Grundmann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Grundmann fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Panos avoids it really well and circles away.
Panos stuffs the takedown attempt from Grundmann. Grundmann gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Grundmann. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Panos scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Panos misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Grundmann or perhaps it was just good defense by Panos, which made it look bad.
Panos appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Michael Grundmann has been cut.
Grundmann fails with a takedown attempt.
Grundmann needs to keep his hands up - Panos had a free shot at his head there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Panos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Grundmann's efforts to push away.
Grundmann wants to break the clinch but can't.
Grundmann wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Grundmann tries to pull guard but Panos forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Panos works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Grundmann is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Panos makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Panos lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Grundmann backwards.
Grundmann wants a takedown.
A shot in the inside from Panos.
Panos lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Grundmann or not.
Grundmann tries for a takedown but Panos manages to get underhooks.
Grundmann drops down looking for an ankle pick but Panos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Panos cracks Grundmann with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Panos sends Grundmann crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Panos is motioning to the referee to let Grundmann up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Grundmann is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Panos throws a monster overhand right that drops Grundmann! Panos follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

In his post fight interview, Kasa Panos started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
