Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santo Mcconnell (ranked 8484 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Tzu (ranked 8632 p4p, 0 weight class). Sun Tzu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcconnell misses with a takedown attempt - Tzu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mcconnell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tzu pinned against the cage. Tzu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tzu throws a counter combo.
Mcconnell looks to land a combination but Tzu avoids it well.

Nice takedown defense from Mcconnell. No joy for Tzu on that attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Santo Mcconnell will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Santo Mcconnell will probably get the nod.
