Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Doppler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joshua Burton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Doppler looks to move to half guard but instead Burton has passed into mount! Damn!
Doppler tries to lock up and control but Burton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Doppler might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Burton kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
You get the feeling that Doppler really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Doppler fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Doppler throws a hook to the side of Burton's head but Burton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Burton shoots in looking for a takedown. Doppler tries to sprawl out of it but Burton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doppler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
