Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Pearse (ranked 8145 p4p, 605 weight class) and Tom Titus (ranked 6507 p4p, 550 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Titus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Titus has control of Pearse's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pearse regains control of the situation pretty easily.

BOOM! Titus connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Titus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pearse doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Titus.

Pearse has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Titus is on him like a limpet, forcing Pearse back against the cage.

Titus has Pearse pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Titus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pearse tumbling to the mat - Titus dives into Pearse's guard.

Titus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
