Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marco Polo (ranked 14204 p4p, 708 weight class) and Fujii Yusuke (ranked 4461 p4p, 470 weight class). Polo's entrance music is On The Floor. A fine choice. Marco Polo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fujii Yusuke's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marco Polo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fujii Yusuke!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yusuke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yusuke wants it to stay on the feet.

Yusuke has managed to clinch.
Polo can't get the takedown.
A short right from Yusuke on the inside.
Polo wants to break the clinch but can't.

Yusuke breaks the clinch.
Polo takes a jab right on the kisser.
Yusuke lands with an uppercut that bounces Polo off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Marco Polo has been cut.
Polo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yusuke as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Polo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Yusuke.
Polo tries to clinch but Yusuke moves away
and Yusuke counters with a straight right hand.

Polo is rocked!
Polo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yusuke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yusuke looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Yusuke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Polo on the side of the head.
Oh Polo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Polo misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Yusuke to counter with a crisp jab.
Yusuke swats away the attempt to clinch by Polo.
Yusuke has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Polo gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Yusuke points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Polo wakes up just in time to hear Yusuke thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Fujii Yusuke!
