Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marc Meredyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Joe Joe Jr Shabadoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Meredyth might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to indestructible. Shabadoo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hardcore Scat Punk. Marc Meredyth has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meredyth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shabadoo pinned against the cage. Shabadoo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Shabadoo scores with a takedown into Meredyth's guard.
Meredyth throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Shabadoo prevents Meredyth from getting back to his feet.

Shabadoo passes Meredyth's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Shabadoo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Meredyth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shabadoo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Meredyth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Shabadoo is working for a submission of some sort.
Shabadoo is trying to control. Meredyth wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Meredyth tries to get to full guard but Shabadoo has control of the leg.
Shabadoo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Shabadoo has control of Meredyth's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Meredyth regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Meredyth sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Shabadoo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Shabadoo stands up and beckons Meredyth to his feet.

Shabadoo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Meredyth to the mat! Meredyth manages to get full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Shabadoo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meredyth tries to get to full guard but Shabadoo has control of the leg.
Shabadoo is taking a breather. Meredyth says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Meredyth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Shabadoo wants to pass the guard but Meredyth is defending well.

Shabadoo works his foot free and advances to mount.
Shabadoo trying to control but Meredyth is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Meredyth is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Meredyth tries to lock up and control but Shabadoo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Meredyth is looking to get to half guard.
Shabadoo avoids the attempt from Meredyth to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Meredyth tries to reverse the position but Shabadoo maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joey Joe Joe Jr Shabadoo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Shabadoo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Shabadoo uses his free foot to push down on Meredyth's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Meredyth.

Shabadoo goes for an armbar but Meredyth turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Meredyth.

Shabadoo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Meredyth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Meredyth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shabadoo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Meredyth manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shabadoo wants to control but Meredyth is keeping him busy.
Shabadoo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Meredyth is in trouble now - Shabadoo has advanced to mount!
Shabadoo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Shabadoo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Meredyth hang on?

Shabadoo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Meredyth is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Meredyth flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Shabadoo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Meredyth and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Shabadoo slips an arm under Meredyth chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Shabadoo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Shabadoo is squeezing on Meredyth like an anaconda would it's prey. Meredyth fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
