Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Ray (ranked 24846 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frasier Crane (ranked 5881 p4p, 0 weight class). Frasier Crane has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with King Ray's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, King Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frasier Crane!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crane pushes Ray up against the cage in a clinch.

Ray has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Crane uses from the top position.
Ray is pulling down on Crane's head to control his posture.
Crane is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ray tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Crane had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ray defends it easily.

Ray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ray has managed to get both his arms back between Crane's legs - danger averted.

Crane unleashes a big counter combination but Ray bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Crane decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ray, up you get!

Crane closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ray's guard.

Crane seems to be working for a kimura but Ray defends the submission attempt.
Crane has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ray moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Crane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ray does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ray gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Crane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ray is working for takedown but Crane is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ray is looking to improve his position.
Ray has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crane is working away from the top position though.

Well Crane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
