The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a takedown attempt

and Taylor holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Davis goes for a double leg but Taylor avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Taylor continues to drive forward.

Davis jumps guard and drags Taylor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Despite the aggression on Taylor's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Davis shoots in but Taylor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
