PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuran Franco (ranked 3855 p4p, 387 weight class) and Nebu Chadnezzar (ranked 5240 p4p, 477 weight class). Chadnezzar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wrong side of Heaven kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yuran Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nebu Chadnezzar!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chadnezzar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Franco has his takedown stuffed
and Chadnezzar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Franco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chadnezzar defends well and Franco ends up having to push Chadnezzar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Franco slips a straight right by Chadnezzar.
Chadnezzar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Chadnezzar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuran Franco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chadnezzar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Yuran Franco has been cut.
Franco is looking to clinch.
Franco tries to clinch but Chadnezzar moves out of range.
Franco takes one to the chin there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Franco shoots and misses
and Chadnezzar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chadnezzar, as that shot connected.
Franco shoots for a double leg takedown but Chadnezzar sprawls well. He's pushed Franco's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A little jabbing left from Chadnezzar on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Yuran Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chadnezzar drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Franco right on the button. Franco goes down! Chadnezzar follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Chadnezzar gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nebu Chadnezzar!
