Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno R Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and dakota dman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruno R Xavier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dman closes the distance and clinches.
dman is pressed up against the cage. R Xavier has hold of a leg and is looking to drag dman down to the mat. dman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
R Xavier shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in dman's guard.

dman throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as R Xavier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
dman thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
R Xavier controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and R Xavier counters with a nice double leg into side control. dman won't be happy with that.
dman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with R Xavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

dman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, R Xavier asserts his dominance and retains side control.

R Xavier scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at dman to see if he's OK.

dman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

R Xavier cracks dman with a big right hand but dman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
R Xavier grinds an elbow into dman's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
R Xavier is trying to get an arm triangle but dman is defending well.
R Xavier is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. dman looks calm but he's in trouble here. R Xavier gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. dman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! R Xavier lets go of the hold and dman can pop his arm back in it's socket.
