The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd is looking to clinch but Edwards is avoiding it.
Boyd defending well as Edwards loads up on a big left hand.
Boyd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edwards tries to avoid it but Boyd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edwards to the ground. Edwards escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Edwards fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyd, pushing him back against the cage.

Boyd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Edwards is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Edwards has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Boyd doesn't defend quickly enough and Edwards has managed to lock this one up! Can Boyd escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Edwards on a fantastic submission victory.
