The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins misses with a takedown attempt - Somm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Somm looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jenkins lands a big right hand that sends Somm crashing to the mat! Jenkins stays standing though and waves Somm back to his feet!
Somm is rocked!
It looks like Dustin Somm has been cut.
We've been told by Somm's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jenkins shoots in but no luck this time.
Oh Somm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jenkins cracks Somm with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Jenkins immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Somm is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Jenkins!
