Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thomas tries to keep at a distance but Cross has taken the fight into the clinch.
Thomas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cross smiles and moves away.
Thomas has a takedown stuffed.
Cross drives through and clinches with Thomas against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cross blocks the elbow strike.
Thomas jumps guard.
Cross has gone for a leg lock! Thomas slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cross's guard.
Cross not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Cross is looking to stand up but Thomas isn't so interested in that idea.

Cross wants to stand and escape but Thomas is having none of it.
Cross avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thomas stands and throws Cross's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Thomas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The strikes coming from Thomas are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
You can see the frustration on Cross's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cross throws Thomas to one side and escapes!
Cross closes the distance and clinches.
Cross with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Thomas slowing the pace effectively.
Cross jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thomas walks away with a smile on his face. Cross gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Thomas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cross moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cross tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Thomas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Thomas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cross!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cross is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Thomas has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Cross is looking to get back to his feet here but Thomas is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cross's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thomas is riding his opponent, not letting Cross buck him off.
Thomas is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Cross might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cross is trying to get back to his feet but Thomas has full control of the position and if anything, Cross has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Thomas really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cross.
Thomas working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Cross is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Thomas has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Cross taps out!
