Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davos Seaworth!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seaworth decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lewis makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lewis.
Seaworth drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lewis defends it well.
Seaworth swings widly with a right hand
and Lewis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Seaworth doesn't manage to clinch there - Lewis circles away.
Davos Seaworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seaworth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lewis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lewis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lewis is looking for a sweep. Seaworth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Seaworth shoots in looking for a takedown but Lewis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Seaworth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Seaworth tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lewis defends well and Seaworth ends up having to push Lewis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Lewis was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Seaworth.
Brandon Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davos Seaworth.

Seaworth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lewis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Seaworth working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Seaworth takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Lewis will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Seaworth shoots for a double leg takedown but Lewis sprawls well. He's pushed Seaworth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lewis has closed the distance and engaged Seaworth in a clinch.

Seaworth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Seaworth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lewis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Seaworth manages to circle out of the way.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seaworth looks to land a left hand but Lewis moved out of range nicely.

Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lewis went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Lewis tries to clinch there but Seaworth circles away.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but Seaworth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Seaworth scores with a big shot! Lewis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Lewis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
