Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Bud (ranked 3494 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas White (ranked 5518 p4p, 0 weight class). White has chosen Schatten as his entrance music. Big Bud is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas White!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bud is looking to land body kicks.
Bud throws the kick towards the body but White avoids it.
White was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Bud rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and White counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bud throws a combination that misses
and White counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bud shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in White's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White is trying to control the position but Bud postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and White counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Bud looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

White fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bud has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and White counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and White finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

White catches Bud with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Bud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
White lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bud takes a step back to recover.
White steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bud. That one must have hurt.
Big Bud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bud misses with a few strikes there.
Bud swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bud throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bud tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
White is trying to counter with his kicks.
White looks to land a body kick but Bud moved away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice inside leg kick there by Bud. That's going to slow White down.
Thomas White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bud appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Bud takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Bud will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bud rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice side step and White releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bud throws a looping overhand right but White ducks down to avoid it.

White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bud manages to avoid it.

It looks like Big Bud has been cut.
Bud throws an overhand right that lands on White's shoulder, as White tries to avoid the shot.
Bud throws a body punch but White moves out of range.

and White counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bud bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
White moves out of range of the body kick from Bud.
White lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bud throws a wild body kick that White sees coming a mile off.

White has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bud finds it's way round the side to connect with White's head.

Bud wants to land a leg kick but White is out of range.
White looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Good leg kick by Bud there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bud scores with a kick to the midsection.
Bud goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
White on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Bud stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bud escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Big Bud will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side.

Bud looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
