Wood throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
No luck for Matthews with that takedown attempt.
Wood misses with a two punch combination.
Matthews shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wood but Wood pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wood lands a jab-cross combination.
Wood scores with a jab. Matthews acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Matthews takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wood throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wood tries to work over Matthews's front leg with a kick but Matthews checks it.
Matthews throws out a loose jab but Wood uses good head movement to avoid it.
Matthews looks to land a right hand but Wood moved out of range.
Wood moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Wood fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Matthews checks it well.
Matthews waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Wood.
Matthews throws a lazy right hand but Wood sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matthews checks a leg kick nicely.
Wood moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Matthews is rocked!
BOOM! Wood lands a beautiful left hook that drops Matthews. Matthews tries to recover but Wood is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Matthews lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
