Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, AJ Davis!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis tries to keep at a distance but Walsh has taken the fight into the clinch.

Davis pulls guard.
Walsh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Walsh missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Walsh is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Walsh stops Davis from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walsh loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Walsh drops back looking for a leg! Davis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davis manages to kick Walsh off! Walsh jumps back into Davis's guard.
Walsh controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walsh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walsh controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walsh might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Walsh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Davis is trying to keep Walsh in close.
Walsh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Walsh won't allow Davis to sweep him here.

Davis is working an open guard so Walsh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Davis rushes Walsh and presses him up against the cage.
Walsh tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Davis pulls guard effortlessly.

Walsh thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Walsh working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Davis's head.

Davis is working an open guard so Walsh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Walsh could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Davis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Walsh looking for a sweep. Not yet Walsh, not yet.
Walsh trying to control the position here.
Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walsh. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Davis throws a big elbow that misses.
Davis wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving.
Davis is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Davis looks winded!

Walsh has his feet on Davis's thighs here. He's pushed Davis off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Davis screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
