Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvis Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Armstrong!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore works over Armstrong's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Elvis Armstrong has been cut.
Armstrong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moore throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Armstrong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moore.
Moore feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Armstrong sprawling to the canvas! Armstrong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Moore finish him?!

Armstrong is rocked!
Moore moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Armstrong goes down! Can Moore finish him!?
Armstrong is still in real trouble! Can Moore finish him?
Moore wanted to stand there but Armstrong had control of the position.
Armstrong seems to have recovered his senses.

Moore stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Moore keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Aaron Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armstrong is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Armstrong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Moore connects with a jab.
Armstrong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Moore.

Moore cracks Armstrong with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Moore has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Armstrong to stand back up!
Moore jabs Armstrong right on the nose. Armstrong blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moore throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Moore tries to bum rush Armstrong with a series of wild strikes but Armstrong uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Moore misses with a few strikes there.
Armstrong gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Moore is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Moore slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Armstrong takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Moore misses with a few strikes there.
Moore fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Armstrong on the side of the head.
Moore keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Armstrong looks gassed!
Moore rushes Armstrong with punches - Armstrong moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Armstrong goes down! Moore follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
