The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agnarsson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Knuckles's hands.
Knuckles wants to clinch up but Agnarsson keeps it at a distance.
Knuckles has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Agnarsson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Knuckles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Knuckles wants to control from the top but Agnarsson keeps moving.

Knuckles finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Agnarsson's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Knuckles falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
