Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rorny Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Bittersweet Symphony. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Burns.
Burns misses with a wild combination.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Burns throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burns as he jumps to the side.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Burns stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Burns is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position!

Gracie is working hard here to advance position.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Burns manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Burns is retaining full guard.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Burns is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burns manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Burns's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie stands and throws Burns's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Burns is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burns keeps working.
Burns dodges the ground and pound from Gracie.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burns has escaped the position, nice work there.
Burns pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Gracie tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Gracie has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Burns is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Gracie moves to the back.

Gracie is looking for a rear naked choke here but Burns reverses the position brilliantly into Gracie's guard!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burns doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Burns manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gracie has an active guard here but Burns has managed to pass into half guard.
Burns prevents Gracie from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rorny Gracie dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Burns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Burns sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Burns tries to score with a low kick but Gracie moves his leg out of the way.
Burns misses with a two punch combination.
Some wild striking there from Burns.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie shoots in and bounces Burns off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burns works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Burns is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burns manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Burns's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.

Gracie is working for a kimura but Burns is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie is trying to control. Burns wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Burns defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Burns is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
