The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gashi walks into a jab.
Gashi tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tiv defends well and Gashi ends up having to push Tiv into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gashi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tiv.

It looks like Enver Gashi has been cut.

Gashi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tiv tries to escape but Gashi is in control.
Gashi fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Gashi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tiv, who protects the arm well.
Tiv is pushing Gashi's head away, looking to escape. Gashi manages to hold on to the position though.
Tiv felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gashi is trying to get an arm triangle but Tiv is defending well.
Gashi is looking to take a break and control but Tiv is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tiv wants to get back to his feet but Gashi drags him back down.

Tiv throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gashi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tiv defends it nicely.

Gashi throws a head kick that misses.

Tiv drops Gashi with a left right combo! Tiv follows him down to the ground into side control.

Gashi is rocked!

Gashi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tiv pulls his head out easily.
Gashi seems to have got his legs back now.
Tiv landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Enver Gashi's cut is getting worse.
Tiv lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Gashi! More strikes land and this one is all over! Tiv jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
